What is the maximum size opening size for PROMASEAL® Fire Compound Extra Strength

PROMASEAL® Fire Compound Extra Strength can be used for openings with span up to 1.5 metres (clear span in one direction). The opening to have vertical edges and to span between two concrete walls or floors. Walls/floors to be capable of providing at least the same period of fire protection as is required by the Fire compound Extra strength seal.

It may be possible to form larger openings (with use of additional reinforcement bars) but the details would need to be determined by a qualified structural engineer.
