Can I use PROMASEAL® Fire Compound in a dry wall partition.

Unfortunately we do not have any test data for the use of PROMASEAL® Fire Compound installed in a drywall partition, as it has only been tested in concrete/masonry walls and floors. We are therefore not able to recommend that it can be used in this application.

We would instead recommend that you could consider use of PROMASEAL® Fire Barrier (mineral fibre batt product, as this has been tested in drywall partitions (further details available in our Document Library)
